This is a really good outdoor heated pool the grandchildren had great afternoon the weather wasn't to good but once in the pool which is heated to 27 degrees we had a hard time encouraging them to come out. There is a lifeguard on duty who went out of her way to make sure we had a good time giving the children inflatable rings and floats to lay with. There is a small cafe and it is run by volunteers who were very kind and friendly. A great day out and highly recommend.

What a fantastic facility in a small village between Penrith and Keswick, staffed entirely by volunteers. The pool is heated (not solar!) and is open most days - hours depend on school holidays. Catering services are available for drinks, snacks and ice creams. Charges are reasonable and go towards the running costs. Best afternoons entertainment in my opinion. Definitely recommended.

A lovely way to spend the afternoon! Fantastic heated (26) outdoor pool run by community volunteers. Check the website and Facebook page for opening times and updates. Café selling drinks, ice cream and snacks. On sunny weekends you may occasionally have to wait if the pool reaches capacity. There's a play park next door, plus a car park, pub and village shop/post office within a few hundred yards. Even on an overcast day the pool is still warm because it's heated so don't let a few clouds or a spot of rain put you off. All takings go towards keeping the pool open. Cash payments only - take change or small notes. There's no cashpoint in the village.
