Nice cafe food very good and extremely well presented. Prices very good. Won't go there again because dog in residence. Sits in with customers and I saw him visit part were food is prepared. Hence 3 stars

Lovely little cafe. Good selection of delicious food prepared to order while you wait. I had a panini and it was served with a side salad, coleslaw and crisps. Very reasonably priced considering what you get. I am not normally a fan of dogs, but the little resident dog really doesn't cause any bother, especially if you make a fuss of her.
Great staff and service. Very comprehensive Gluten free range available.
Lovely little, local café with dedicated vegan and gluten free menus. Vegan breakfasts, toasties, baguettes, pancakes, panini's, jackets, hotdogs and waffles. They have vegan cheese and even vegan options for mayonnaise and coleslaw as well as a range of homemade cakes, many of which are dairy free or vegan. The owner is very helpful and can advise on accomodating dietary requirements.
If you like tea (or coffee) and cake, you must try Penelope's. The cakes are really good and food is freshly prepared. Nice, cosy, comfortable and tranquil. Really friendly staff and excellent service, made me feel like a regular on my first visit. Highly recommended.
