Arrived there around 12 and it was quiet which was perfect. The menu comprised of a lot of beer together with burgers, pizza, breakfast and other western styles. You have to go to the bar to place your order for drinks or food. Service was good and the hotdog as well. Go there if you have time to burn as my order did take a while to prepare.

My girlfriend and I ordered a beer and attempted to pay from where we were sitting at the bar. The bartender did not take my credit card and told me to pay at the counter about two meters away. I had just been served my beer and didn't want to get up and wait in line when she or another staff member could easily done what happens in any other bar and taken our card to the machine themselves. I waited and then offered the card to another staff member, one Murat (who turned out to be the manager). He rolled his eyes and gave me the same response. He told me that there was a 'self-service' payment at the computer. My Turkish is limited, but I asked him to just take the card and let me stay seated at the bar. He refused and then picked up the computer, set it down, and retorted that he could not bring it to me. I stood in line and showed him the tip that I had intended to give him. I told him as politely as possible that I didn't appreciate being treated in such a rude manner, and said that the tip had been for him, but I had expected better customer service. He came unglued and started speaking to me in angry rapid-fire Turkish. I only understood the word 'orospu' and I told him that I hoped that he was not having a bad day, and also that if he was, I hoped it would get better. He asked me to stop talking, and I told him that I would not be returning and would probably leave him a bad review. He showed me his name, Murat, and challenged me to do just that.
Murat was very welcoming. Great selection. Of beer and food. 5 star service. I would definetly recommend!
Only option at early flight to gain access to WiFi. Low quality service, food and selection. English of the staff is very poor for work at an international airport. Supposed to open at 05:30, but staff was busy dinning... no wonder that an hour later, still, I’m the onlt client around
Hi, I just wanted to share my last experience regarding Hero’s. I was there around 7am it was totally empty in the restaurant and the airport itself. I had my tea, salad and soup and I was being served by young man for whom I don’t have anything negative to say. After my breakfast i was enjoying my WIFI when very rude, unprofessional, unpleasant lady came to me and told me I cannot sit there for free (althouth I had salad, soup & tea already). She was insisting that I order for something else and she told me If i don’t want to do so I can leave the place! I was very shocked but I didn’t want to go down on her level and I showed her my bill when she realized I have every right to sit there. She started talking in Turkish although I don’t understand it. She is the worst waitress I have ever seen in my life! Please provide some training for her since she is out of control. The place is so nice and cozy I really like it but she needs some training cause she is representing the place itself! I just hope someone is reading this feedbacks cause I saw so many negative comments regarding staff. As I sad I really like the place but I doubt I will come there again.
I've been to Turkey eight times so far. Always I've met very nice and honest people and always I've had good, fresh food. Turkish Hospitality is one of a kind. Unfortunately I've been to Hero's Sporst Bar. Everything I've learned to love about Turkey, doesn't mean a thing in this Sports Bar. The waiters are so unfriendly and give you the feeling that you annoy them, by simply talking to them or even staying in their bar. In the evening you need to order a beer. Otherwise you can't order anything else... Weird. And the food is soo bad. I've never ate so bad in Turkey. I couldn't finish my Köfte, since I was afraid of getting a food poisoning. The meat was not fresh and not well cooked. The side Salat was just plain Salat, without anything else! Worst experience in Turkey. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Asked the man working here, Murat, if there was wifi available. He flatly said no. I asked if there was anywhere in the airport where I could get wifi, and he snarkily said, "What do I look like, 'Information'?" before storming off. I guess I interrupted him standing around, not doing anything. It takes just as much effort to be nice, polite, and civilized as it does to be a rude jerk, and in this case, the latter caused Hero's to lose my business. I often fly through this airport, but I'll never go to Hero's.
So overpriced!! Convert prices before you order, you ll be amazed
