On every ocassions to Jambi, I went to this area hunting for every Pempek Stalls in every corner of this street. This restaurant is one of the best, eventough it doesn't hold the title for one of the famous. Each meal came with a big portion. My Pempek Lenggang is huge, and I can feel lots of eggs inside. The Pempek Kulit is one of my favourite here, a savoury, crunchy, crispy, fried fish skin cakes, dipped on Cuka. Their cuka is not spicy, add more hot sauce according to your taste. Pretty good.

In my opinion: best fish cake ("pempek") in town. The taste of the fish is adequate (not so strong/fishy, not so soft). The taste of the dressing ("cuka") is strong and spicy. You can have another dish like fish noodle, fried rice, chicken porridge, etc. All dish is home made. Various kind of dessert dan drinks is also nice. When you are in Jambi, one of the place you should visit.

I said this is the best pempek in Jambi Town. Fish noddle is a must try here. Eventhough a bit pricey but worth it; - the taste is so great, restaurant is clean and comfortable with nice and helpful staffs.
I went here based on an expert's recommendation, while the two superstars are next to its store ... this Pempek delivers unique taste and cuko. Give a visit to this place and have a pleasant time here w/the kind people serving the food here. The pempek tastes great, accompanied by the cuko delivering unbeatable experience of tasting pempek.
