Great Castle! Excellent day out for the whole family. There is plenty to see and do. The little cafe is great i would definitely recommend the rustic rolls, very tasty. There are plenty of lovely things in the gift shop. After the castle pop down the hill around the castle walk you get some great views.

Fantastic day out with a host of things to do, still in fantastic condition after a 1000 years of occupation. Plentiful knowledge about the castle as you can see in my photos. A great day out folks.
Loved the history. Plenty of exhibits to read and watch you can walk along the walls, they have a cafe for food and drink. Has a gift shop. You have to pay for parking pay and display run by the council. Great pub round the corner the Royal George.
A wonderful castle, with a tremendous history, awe inspiring for children. Reasonable entrance fee, say if you live local, annual membership available. If visitors want to go several times a year that works out cheaper, great little cafe.
Great castle. Loved walking along and through the walls. Information was laid out well and was interesting. Loved the map of Welsh castles in the grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful.
