We visited Pemberton last Saturday. The General store looked a great place and was chock full of all kinds of stuff. I bought a ‘lumberjack’ style shirt however the old fella running the store was the unfriendliest person I met on our two week trip to BC. He wasn’t at all friendly or helpful or wanting to know if he could help us. Even when I bought the shirt there was no thanks or conversation. It was like he wanted us out of his store ASAP. He didn’t even say goodbye. Such a shame as this place could be a gem.
Don’t expect any service or even a smile from the old man. You can tell he doesn’t want to be there, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Shame because they have good stock for a general store.
Always happy to support the locally owned business's. Nothing has changed and lots of really cool and practical stuff!!
