Me and my best friend had an amazing time in this restaurant. We arrived at 7pm and stayed almost until midnight. We had most of the courses from the menu and we just loved it. So fresh, so tasty. The oysters were incredible - we had two plates. Craving those oysters every day since that evening. We couldn’t stop eating :) The Peixes staff is great. So nice and friendly, so efficient. If I’m back in Nice I’m definitely coming back. Peixes, you are doing a great job!

Usually, I don't write reviews, however this time I really want to say that Peixes restaurant is one of the best I have ever visited! And I love eating out so it means that they are just so so so good! When we came my boyfriend was disappointed by the small size of menu and limited choices, but after we were so impressed and what makes them the best is that every dish is very unique and delicious! So, the size of the menu is actually not a problem at al;) Fist of all, I am a big tuna tartar lover and this place has officially the best tartar I have ever tried! It's so unique with seaweed and wasabi crackers which is amazing! Ceviche in coconut milk was incredible as well as both second dishes. Second, prices are really reasonable for what you get. And the service is very fast and everyone is so sweet and caring there! They were making sure we like everything and asking our feedback. We saw people at tables around us were impressed too! Everyday I dream of going there to eat their tuna tartar because it is really the best! I recommend this place and I will be back for sure with all my friends and family because I want everyone to try food at this amazing restaurant!️
Located near the city center in Nice and this seafood bar is an interesting experience for seafood lovers. The menu mostly consists of cold fish dishes and there are relatively few items to choose from, which isn’t a bad thing in my opinion. We ordered fish of the day in coconut cream and a light tangy sauce. The fish felt and tasted fresh and the sauce complemented the fish tremendously. The oysters are also very fresh and tasteful and the prices which are 16 for six oysters and 20 for the fish dish are reasonable. Overall this was a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone but beware that there could be a line since this is a small place.
The best meal ever. The waiter here listens what I want and introduces, explains the menu to me clearly and well. First meal in Nice, already fall in love here. I will come here before I leave Nice for sure. If you guys don’t know what to eat in vieux Nice. Come here!!
This place was amazing! Food was really tasty and the restaurant has a good vibe. We had a great last holiday meal there and I highly recommend! The picture is a tuna tartare with wasabi and one of the best dishes I ever had!
We went to Nice for a few days and enjoyed this place so much that we had to go again for our last dinner. The food is simply delicious. The oysters were so fresh and the deep fried cod croquettes were so lovely. The octopus and gnocchi dish was a highlight with the wow factor presentation, and their fish of the day dish in Tom yum was delightful. Service was great and prices were spot on. A must visit in Nice.
Best restaurant in Nice!! amazing experience from the bread and wine to the seafood and even the dessert! highly recommend their duck breast, scallops and octopus. food is reasonably priced and cooked with great attention to details we had to revisit the next day!
If you thought a restaurant in one of the busiest streets of Nice wouldn't have great food, you're wrong. Plenty, polite and educated staff to serve the busy place. Amazing fish dishes with a tiny asian twist. Not cheap, small portion sizes, but worth it.
