Delicious!! Let's try! Every Wednesday @peerieshopcafe make reestit mutton soup, a dish unique to the Shetland Islands. Each butcher has its own secret recipe for making reestit mutton, but before the middle of the 1970s, this process was something done at home.

Very well organised... great menu and food..sat outside in sunshine. Well worth a visit.

Food quality good. Covid arrangements fine but greeting staff member rather stern and abrupt, far from welcoming. On that basis we didn't return during our stay on Shetland.

Loved this venue. Friendly service, good selection of food. Did not enjoy the mutton soup but that is personal preference and not taking away anything from the cafe. My husband's lentil soup was bloomin fantastic best lentil soup I have eaten. Actually I preferred it to my mum's lentil soup and it's pretty fine! Some upstairs seating as well but still fairly limited space. But you must must eat here.
