A phenomenal place, definitely worth a visit. The museum itself has been slightly destroyed by time. The claustrophobic, tight spaces perfectly show the climate and working conditions that existed on the submarine. Low price. No card payment possible.

The harbour's main attraction is the submarine museum. The entrance fee is 8 per adult. I can't rate the museum as it is 2020, and during this COVID 19 pandemic, I don't feel safe to go into a relatively small submarine with a crowd. The ferry boats also leave from here for different tours. Make sure you check the schedule as it's limited in June.

By chance I saw the U-Boat from the ship anchored in the adjacent museum! This is a must for historical buffs, being allowed to wander through the soviet built submarine for about 5 The amenities for visitors are amenable and folk are happy to help.

Described often as a U boat, it is actually a Soviet submarine, this is a chance to explore the cramped life of the life of a submariner. 7 Euro admittance but can get unpleasantly crowded at weekends, so carefully time your visit to bend and squeeze through small circular doors. The dummies used to display the crew are entertainingly bad, but don't let that put you off. Absolutely wonderful for kids!

A really cool experience to be able to go through the whole u-boat. Watch your head if you are tall! Sadly all the signs with information is only in german.
