The piste in Pec was not prepared for the night session as well as I'd hoped... I felt I was skiing on ice and fighting for my life. I was here a year ago and the conditions were much better. Other than that, it's a lovely place with a great atmosphere.

In Summer it's a good base camp for mountain walk by cable lifts. There are 3 around - Sniezka, Hdny Vrh and Czerna Hora. There are many restaurants in town but only one grocery shop. Tennis clay yard and pool in hotel is accessible.

Despite the beautiful mountains around and stylish wooden chalets on the hills, the resort itself looks pretty wild and chaotic. The worst is the traffic in the resort and also around it. The city consists of two main streets and the parking places are at the end of those streets! So there is never ending flow of cars, 4x4s and buses, plus snow cats and snow mobiles in higher places around the resort. It also brings a lot of noise and air pollution to the places where you wouldn't expect it. I hope the city council will try to solve this soon.

This resort is quite ok. Jańskie Laznie are croud but Pec pod Sniezku is better. Much more slops and places where you can eat

If you are lucky as we were today and the resort is not crowded you can enjoy plenty of slopes in Pec or use the transport to Černá hora with one of the longest downhill slopes of this country. Kids parks available.

Not much snow outside of the resort but the resort itself is well developed and maintained
