Lovely park. A lot of work has been done to update the band stand and bridge. Children's play area looked very good although closed at this present time.
First time to visit this park, it's a lovely area for family. Nice yard and small pond can make you feel relaxed .
Beautiful gardens renovated in 2020 so the main gates are restored, the Victorian Conservatory has been rebuilt, there is now a bridge over the small lake and a vibrant green, red and yellow bandstand with footpaths that are wide enough and suitable for cyclists, prams, skateboards. Or whatever. It's a great park.
Its had a makeover and the pond area is lovely with plenty of benches. There a little bridge, a bandstand and a glass house. I hadnt been for many years and found it very pleasant to sit and eat my lunch in the winter sunshine watching the families feed the ducks and geese.
