I got married here back in 2013 & the meadow was perfect for the relaxed, laid back, DIY country wedding reception we were looking for. John & Deirdre (the venue owners) go out of their way to answer questions & help. They have a fire pit you can use for no extra cost for example & a little wooden house which we used for baby changing! There is also a bar in the field so you can hire a local pub to come in and sell drinks but you need them to get a license. You cannot have fireworks, let off fire lanterns or camp overnight as the owners live next door but it is perfect for a special reception. They do not have a wedding ceremony license but there are plenty of churches & registry offices nearby in Oxfordshire. There is a field for parking around 100 cars for guests. There is a beautiful cut flower garden, perfect for photos! You can even hang your own lights in the pear trees and it looks stunning at night.
