Update. We went while it was a bit slow. Service was very good. The waitress was pleasant. The food was okay. I've eaten here a few times and it hasn't truly been consistent. The drinks were strong so that was a plus. The value for food was acceptable so overall it was an okay experience.

Food was very good, nice-size portions, and the price for the lunch special was very reasonable. Also, our server was very friendly, and she provided great service!

I’m adding this here because I had been calling this place as Google states it closes at 9 PM. That apparently is incorrect so we were calling around 820 to 835 nobody had picked up the phone and we kept getting the voicemail dial tone so we drove up here since we don’t live too far. The door was open and unlocked the music was on, the lights were on. The gentleman behind the counter told us that they close at 8:45 and I had to explain that it was only 838 when I walked in and I said we were calling a little bit earlier and he was like yeah we actually close at like 845 and gave me no other explanation. The mofongo is awesome but tonight customer service wasn’t great super disappointed as I had just gotten off working and called earlier on to drive up here and no food
Delicious food and Great Service. They never let me down. So much to choose from and everything is fresh and yummy!!! I had the Bistec palomilla, arroz blanco con habichuelas and plantains (flank steak with onions, white rice-which, by the way is EVERYTHING, red beans and plantains) with Fresh Passion Fruit juice . Been here more than 3 times all ready within the past few months and I truly enjoy this place-and it's affordable too!!! Highly highly recommend it
