Went to Payal for a tasting, hoping to choose them to cater for our upcoming wedding. We had tried their food at family weddings in the past so knew it was good and had plenty of recommendations. However, they have recently changed owner and it looks like their services have most definitely gone downhill. At the tasting, we were served the leftover food from customers they had had earlier in the day therefore not fresh food even though their main 'selling point' is that their food is always fresh. I had specifically asked for not traditional Pakistani food however, this is mainly what we were served. Some of the chicken was raw, the prawns were very chewy and definitely had not been cooked properly. The rice tasted like it had been reheated from earlier and the whole family had upset stomachs the day after. We were sent an email straight after the tasting telling us what the price would be to which I responded with an email to say we were disappointed by the tasting however, were still willing to give them a chance since we had tried their great food in the past. We got no response. We also tried calling them and sent Anu a WhatsApp message however received no response. Very disappointing and bad customer service.

Went to a wedding recently and payal were catering. Food all good. The staff who served the food were RUDE when i say rude i have never in my life been spoken to the way your staff spoke to my table. The manager went out of her way along with the other 'staff' to intimidate us. All we asked for is extra naan bread after that it went down hill. They served everyone elses table dessert but ours and were laughing in the corner. We got up and left the wedding. Applying you should be ashamed of having 2nd class staff with no manners and by the looks of it not one GSCE between them. Disgusting service. It was a wedding in macclesfield end of August if your trying to figure what 'staff' it was. Would never recommend payal not for the food but for the vile staff
