I brought my grandparent's old typewriter from 1910 in to be repaired and restored. Michael Marr is the one who fixed it all up to pristine conditions. I couldn't believe it, I am so excited that I have it back in wonderful working condition! ( I didn't even know that it was green!) The work that was done and the service were both incredible. Will definitely recommend and be back!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Marr this afternoon at the shop while searching for a manual typewriter. I've been a long time amateur writer and have always wanted a typewriter for that romantic, glass of wine, clickity-clack joy that only a mechanical writing tool can provide. I called ahead and Mike kindly waited at the shop for me to drop by. When I arrived, he stepped into the back room to allow me to individually test and try each of the manual typewriters they had in stock. When I was ready, Mike talked me through the options and I settled on a 1940s style Underwood Standard. As Mike rang up the purchase, we chatted about his family's history in the typewriter business. He even showed me his grandfather's business card as an Underwood typewriter dealer. Then, Mike personally carried the typewriter out to my car for me - it doesn't get much better than that when it comes to service. Mike gave me a great deal and threw in an extra ribbon spool for good measure! The no pressure setting and knowledge that Mike brought to the table made this easily one of my best purchasing experiences. I've been happily typing away all evening since I got home. Mike made a loyal customer of me today, and I'm sure he'd do the same for your. If you're in the market for a new-to-you typewriter - this is the spot!

I bought a vintage typewriter for my son’s birthday and it needed work. I had a few short days to get it done in time for his birthday. I googled typewriter repair and I found Marr Office Equipment.
