I tend to head for this car park when driving into Buxton. Looks like there's some work going on at the moment. Payment machines are cash only as I write and in these times of paying for everything by card, you can't here. All the same, good parking for the swimming pool, Pavilion Gardens and town. Please update the payment machines!! I hardly ever carry change now!!
Great parking, clean toilets and a pleasant walk around the footpath, easy for most people. Miniature train and children's play area also. Cafe was open when we went but best to check before you travel. Great location 5min walk to town centre shops etc.
Nice place to eat and have a hot drink. Also, there is a cinema there. You can also buy some souvenirs.
It poured with rain, but the indoor areas were really nice. We saw morris dancers, and enjoyed the play areas.
