Paul recently provided the catering (food only) for our marquee wedding in June 2019. The food on the day was great - we opted for a buffet carvery which worked well. Paul is a decent guy and we got on well with him. Not 5 star because of occasionally slow responses to queries and admin in the lead up (he is a busy man). Overall Paul delivered what we wanted and we are grateful to him and his on-the-day team.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. We had an astonishingly similar situation to another reviewer, below. Paul's Catering were booked to provide a catered dinner for 60 people in May this year. They requested that we pay in advance, due to the high number of bookings in the summer, which we agreed to. The day before the event, I received a phone call stating that their 'ovens had been stolen' and they they could only provide a cold buffet. With little time left to organise an alternative, we agreed to this at a discounted price. On the day of the event, less than half of the agreed food was delivered, and no food for any anyone with dietary requirements, meaning we have to drive to a supermarket and buy and cook sufficient food to feed 60 guests. On phoning Paul, we were told that they were currently catering a wedding (i.e. their ovens hadn't been stolen, they has simply double booked themselves), and they couldn't' do anything to help us. Paul also lied on the phone, stating that the delivered bread was gluten free, when it clearly wasn't, which could have led to major health issues for some of our attendees if we had served this. Since the event we have been trying in vain, to get a refund for the agreed amount. However, it has been impossible to contact the company. We have resorted to taking legal action against the company and are still pursuing this matter through the courts, 3 months down the line. It amazes me how a business with such abhorrent business practice can still be trading.
some of the best wedding food we have ever tasted!!! this was just one of the comments we had from our guests at our wedding, i cannot speak highly enough of Pauls and cannot wait to recommend them to our friend just so we can taste there food again at there weddings
We booked Paul’s for our wedding last year and had them supply us with a marquee & all of our food and I can happily say it was all amazing, our marquee looked beautiful and our 3 course wedding breakfast was well received by all our guests, we will be using Paul’s again for any upcoming events we may have thank you
We hired the company to provide a bar at our wedding. We paid in advance and when I phoned them on the day they told me they were double booked and then stopped taking my calls. I have not received a refund or apology and am being forced to take legal action. Think twice before using this company. Don't be fooled by how accommodating Paul is before he gets the money. It was one of the worst things that could have happened to our wedding and it was COMPLETELY THEIR FAULT. They really did not care and I am still having to chase through the courts for a refund! I booked them through add to event who have now removed them as suppliers
