I wanted to give this chippy a try due to all the good reviews. However, I wouldn’t be going back again for several reasons. The owner was creepy towards me. Not impressed with his behaviour towards me at all and made my skin crawl. Arrogant and full of himself would best describe it. Secondly the food tasted like it had been fried again. It was soaked in cold oil and the chips just had that taste and feeling you get when they are cold. I’ll be returning back to ‘Chips R Us’ where good service falls in with the good food.

Best chippy in Bolton by far. The haddock is amazing, beautifully cooked, terrific size and haddock is a sustainable fish too! What more could you ask for?
Phoned up placed order to pick up arrived ready to be picked up. Home and wow fish so big and chips plenty enough for two. Bought two lots so phoned daughter and have one lot for them as well. Lovely fish and chips and great price too. Highly recommend and safe pick up too. What more can you ask. Thank you Paul's chippy we will be back. ️️️️️
