Had afternoon tea here yesterday and I was quite shocked at the lack of social distancing on the tables outside. Lots of space around the premises but all the tables were put close together by the entrance door. A couple of other diners also commented about this. We had to wait 20 minutes for the tea to be prepared which wasn't excessive considering they had to make up fresh sandwiches (so they said) and the waitress was very apologetic. We were offered unlimited tea which was nice. I would say that if we had to pay full price for the afternoon tea we would have been extremely disappointed but luckily we got a discount so it was average value for money. The jam was served in an egg cup which was novel! They served 3 halfs of a sandwich each consisting of cream cheese & roasted pepper, wafer thin ham and Piccalilli and Salted Cucumber. We had to ask for fresh cucumber sandwiches as the bread was hard and crusty like it was made significantly earlier in the day. We were told when the tea try was delivered that only plain scones were left which were edible but bland. The \Patisserie Treats\ plate was made up of 3 small pieces of carrot cake and one piece of purple tart so one of us had two pieces of carrot cake. Considering the window was full of different types of delicious looking cakes it was extremely disappointing. The only thing stopping it getting one star is the fact the staff were pleasant but the money saving techniques employed spoilt our visit. Its a shame to say but I don't think we would have it again here, would try another venue.

An awesome Afternoon Tea for Two experience. Staff are very lovely and friendly. Sandwiches, cakes scones and tea are delicious and fresh. Bonus: we get to pick 4 cakes to take home to enjoy! This is because my aunt given us a voucher (from Red Letter Days) which includes it. Totally worth it! Enjoyable moment. *Edit just to add: I've done a bit of research, this voucher may cost around 35 from Red Letter Days. We will surely be gifting this to our child's teacher/s for Christmas!

The shop was well tended, safe and staff were very friendly. The seating was comfortable and we were unrushed despite it being busy for a Monday. We had an afternoon tea that was superb. All the sandwiches were delish, the scones were warm and soft and there was more than enough jam and clotted cream. The cakes were amazing. All in all really really nice and I recommend it.

Excellent tasting cakes and brilliant look.. Have bought a few times now and the quality is consistent.. Must add that they have made them smaller in size and higher in price though.. Still would recommend it..
