Patara Thai Restaurant South Kensington

A fantastic & authentic Thai dining experience! The food was absolutely fantastic! The beauty of this food is being able to differentiate the subtle flavors and just appreciate the delicate balance. Really superb. The service was quite abrupt but certainly wouldn’t stop us going back.

Very disappointed having asked several times for vegan food and having been so impressed with the special vegan (veggie) section on the menu to find pieces of calamari with my mushrooms and oyster sauce on my veggies (despite specifically requesting for that sauce to be removed). Definitely don’t bother eating here if you’re a vegan- the chef either doesn’t know what it is/doesn’t care. I still feel sick. Quite surprising as I usually don’t have any problem at Thai restaurants.

Fine Thai cuisine that dazzles the pickiest enthusiast! Every dish was superb! For anyone who wanted to return to Bangkok and could not!!

It was an OK experience, nothing amazing. My partner ordered a Veg tom yum soup... but was very disappointed what she got. Didn't taste nice.
