Medium-to-large-sized club in terms of membership on a decent-sized premises with parking on opposite side of Ohea Street. The forecourt has a basic memorial and a couple of ex-military items: - Quick Firing (QF) 40mm Anti-Aircraft (AA) Bristol Bofors gun, Barrel L/60 MkI No.L/51[4?]8[5?] manufactured 1942 by Otis Fensom Elevator Works, Canada (OFE/C), unknown breech-ring, unknown autoloader, unknown breech casing on unknown mounting & unknown platform (which has had all four arms cut off and the stub bolted to a concrete foundation). Other examples of Bristol Bofors can be found at the RSL clubs of Keilor East, Fawkner, and Watsonia, but none are in well maintained condition. The Fawkner example is the most well preserved in terms of visible marks. - Light Weight Type (LWT) anchor with head stock, weight 2500lb, registration TP No.030, manufactured 1965 by Baldt Inc of Chester, Pennsylvania (PA), USA, for the US Navy. Despite the apparently large size this is a modest-sized anchor for USN ships and was likely employed on a vessel of Frigate class or smaller. Staff at club were friendly and more than happy for visitors to photograph these items so long as they are respected.

Nice family friendly bistro with reasonably priced seniors menu items, three course seniors meals (with extra cost for soup). Non senior items are pricey but of good quality. Meals ordered from the kitchen are delivered promptly. Wheel chair accessibility is easy and registration of non members is mandatory upon each visit, which is quick and easy at reception.
