Excellent, french authentic style restaurant. The food was exceptionally amazing, make sure you order french menu and not just a steak or casual food. The french menu, specially the Normandy cuisine was excellent. And the service was great and people genuinely friendly and nice. If you are in Rouen, this is a must try!
My favourite restaurant decor, ambiance, and staff are excellent. Always pre booked before we leave England.
Went there a long time ago, the food was not outstandingly delicious. The exterior during spring time is nice though.
Average restaurant. Nothing too exciting. One probably gets better oysters in some places in Britain. Lamb stew (navarin d’agneau) was on the bland side. The potatoes seemed more confit than part of stew. The ils flotante tasted too eggy and having burned almond served as garnish doesn’t really help the dish.
We had a lunch there and it was good the staff was friendly too
The service was very nice, and the waiter was a real gentleman. However, the food wasn’t as good as I thought it would be but I must say that the style of 30s-50s in this place is very cozy. Check this place out if you around.
Image a piece of cardboard soaked in water, microwaved for ten minutes and left out to dry in a laundromatte. That piece of cardboard is probably still ten times more succulant and tasty than the chicken we had in this “restaurant”. I am putting restaurant in quotes, because it is probably a performance art piece from a young Rouan artist called “what if chicken tasted like cork, marinated in the tears of a chef that doesnt care anymore.” Also, the fries were so soggy you could mash them together to create a giant middle finger you could point towards the unfriendly, bored staff. Avoid this place. Drive back to your airbnb or hotel, print out a picture of a chicken and eat that instead. Its probably better.
