Good service and friendly staff but they have a single landline that doesnt work. So difficult to communicate. Otherwise fine

Posting for the bureau of customs in cmec. As much as the government needs this Its a hassle for people to go from far away just to pick up parcels personally with the home delivery paid for. At this day and age, there should be a better way to do this and not hold parcels \hostages\ and force people to go from wherever, which is most likely more often than not unreasonable. I'm from novaliches and was requested to go to pasay. Imagine people who are from much farther. And that's just for packages that need \legit\ inspecting. These people tag packages probably by the size of packaging or appearance rather than real value. 1 star because apparently this is the norm and nobody can do anything about it.

Latest Scam: Damaged Package Had To Be Returned To Sender, But When Returned The Package Is Empty. Happened Several Times Already, and No Notification Other Then Sender Emailing Ripped Package Returned In Plastic Bag.

Just got off the phone with someone from CMEC regarding my package. They told me the same thing that's on their website (which isn't updated by the way (late by 2 weeks)). We shouldn't be blaming all of the people working there cause the lady that I talked to was nice. We should be blaming their system, the way they run things. If the higher ups had the initiative to do things instead of just sitting there, maybe our packages would be with us now. * FIFO: First in, first out * This should also be applied to the packages stuck in your office/warehouse. Other details: My package arrived here in PH last Aug. 12 but the lady told me that Philpost hasn't received the package yet. Maybe stuck in a container somewhere and they haven't unloaded it yet? don't freakin know.

Sent a registered mail from abroad. I called to asked why my mail is not arriving in the province. It took me 3 times to get hold of a call representative but the lady who answered was polite and provided me the information I needed.

Worst company ever. This is a scam company. If you send something from abroad, or maybe even locally, even you get to pay door to door, they will never deliver your package. They never notify me if my parcel arrived in their custom, and they still look to charge huge taxes, sometimes times 2 more that you paid the items sent with shipping fees. I got some of my items short, as they opened my boxes, and item went missing from it. The boxes was resealed with scotch tape having their name on it, something that from other country you’d never have available to seal your boxes with. DTI probably knows this issue, yet allow them to do all this illegal things to people. Contact number, is worthless, as I’ve seen how the phone was ringing and no one answered while waiting to track some of my parcels in the past

Much better than expected ,Considering this is a government office, experience was much better. Got the parcel in less than an hour , I reached there by 9 am Steps followed 1. Submit the Tracking number , name & address in a Slip in Window # 1 2. Wait for about 15 to 20 mins to call your number 3. Once called , go to Window # 2 and get the card for delivery - Put name & sign it 4. Wait for another 10 mins for your name to be called for item inspection 5. Once called the name - they will bring the item , open it for inspection - 6. After checking the item - They will re pack it and ask to pay the handling charge of 112 peso .. 7. Pay it and you can collect the pack .. Good supporting staff ..
