Beware that the staff at this clinic will be very argumentative (the point of demeaning you) should any miscommunication transpire. I had a misunderstanding occur, the attendant giving me a vaccine prescribed by my doctor, then after the fact letting me know I wouldn't actually need that vaccine in the country I was visiting. I very taken advantage of and tried to discuss this with her only to have her suddenly become very argumentative. I let her know I was done having the conversation and would pay and see myself out. She kept on then when I interrupted her again she stormed out. On payment I tried again to calmly discuss the matter with the reception only to have the attendant and owner come up, not hear what I had to say but continuously repeat their statements of their procedures versus hearing me. I remained in a calm demeanor and let them know I'd be making payment and posting a review. Suddenly the owner began to accuse me of being childish, passive aggressive, and \creating threats\ when I was calmly trying to have a discussion with them. He made a public display of this in front of 3 other patients in the room, in turn embarrassing himself and revealing the reputation of the clinic. Lastly I wasn't even given the record of my vaccine so I had to go back to get it. When I did the owner came out again only to treat me horribly and tell me never to come back again. If you want to experience what an unprofessional atmosphere looks like where people prioritize money over health and dignity then the Healthy Traveler Clinic is the place to go.

Could not have had a better experience. Called early in the week and spoke to John about my immunization needs for a family trip to Central America. He confirmed the shots I'd identified on the CDC website, and gave me a price breakdown plus hours for walk-in appointments. We arrived on a Friday morning around 8:45 and were greeted warmly. Clean office, classical music playing. After filling out a short info form, the three of us were shown into an examination room. Our nurse (can't remember her name) was super nice, explaining the pros and cons of the ingestible vs. injectable for one of the immunizations. She gave us our shots, and we were out of there 10 minutes later. Highly recommend.

Designs individual vaccs based on criteria you provide as opposed to the other way around. I traveled to Africa for work, but was in more urban than rural areas of the continent. I was talked thru recommended protocols based on my actual destination. All my questions were answered along the way and I cannot recommend the clinic highly enough.
