Great place! A little hard to navigate to in the dark and the rain, but it was worth the effort. The fish was very well done, and the sauces were incredibly tasty. We'll have to make the 8-hour drive to come back some day!

Asked a local for food recommendations. We figured Yelp would have a few, but recommendations tend to be hit or miss there. Our cab driver recommended this place. He said he couldn’t remember the spelling, but pointed us to where it would be off the freeway. For reference, we’d just come from Florida where we had some seafood here and there, but mostly from bars. We were very pleased with everything from Parrain’s, from the bread to their house dressing. The crawfish dishes were phenomenal, and the oysters with the bread were delicious. The flavors and seasoning were so..precise. Will definitely miss food from here. I’m glad this place was recommended to us.
This place is amazing !!!!!!!! FANTASTIC SERVICE !! PHENOMENAL SERVICE ! Dakota, you are an amazing server. Thank you. To the cooks, YOU ARE FABULOUS ! I highly recommend the Blacked and Blue Tuna and, the Whole She Bang. LOVED the stuffed shrimp on that plate. We were so full we got our desert to go but I know that’s going to be delicious too. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A FANTASTIC MEAL YALL !!! So amazing ! I will be back. Best food we have had in Louisiana !!!!
My experience at this restaurant was excellent! The food is absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed shrimp which were incredible! I almost didn’t even try the dirty rice on my plate but am so glad I did! It had a spicy Cajun flare which was scrumptious! Also the hush puppies were wonderful! They were not frozen straight out of the bag - they were legit made in-house! I was a little apprehensive about coleslaw with peanuts but tried it anyways, and it did not disappoint! All in all, I highly recommend this awesome place!
Food is A1 great so I’ll give it 5 stars. Experience would be much better if they expand the mixed drinks menu! However the lemon drop Martini never disappoints!
