Excellent installations, everything is new, beautiful place, silent... perfect for walk around and full of nature. There nice bungalows to rent and it look la amazing. Cons: no toilet paper and the water takes a wile to get hot at the camping facilities.

This is an expensive campsite at 23 out of season and yet only has lukewarm showers in cold facilities, no hot water in the sinks in the men's toilets and no loo paper. On the plus side it is in a great area for walking and although the site has no information the nearby park information centre has plenty of details of walks. The pitching system is complicated and pitches are not generous. The site is very shaded and there are no areas for sun at cooler times. There is good recycling and the site is clean and tidy.
It is a very nice camping park in the Gerês national park. They have shady tent spots and serviced caravan spots. There is a small grocery store and a beautiful wining pool. They also have a restaurant and cafe with serves really good food for pretty good prices. Everything is clean and we'll maintained. They have a number of activities including a tree walk. We stayed at one of the bungalows and it was nice and cool even though it was well over 30C outside. It had a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful view. The perfect home base for exploring the park.
The receptonist was the worst i’ve ever seen in my life, lacking any kind of social communication skills. We felt very unwelcome. I advice the management to recplace the receptionist by a skilled person. Camping has clean toilets and is a great starting point for walks.
I've never written a one-star review before, but boy does this campsite deserve it. When I arrived the receptionist didn't even look up from her telephone until I said "Bom Dia", this was repeated the 2 more times when I went to the reception. No acknowledgment until you're standing in front of her and speak 1st. It made me feel unwanted as a guest. But the number one issue: the showers are cold water only. When I woke up it was 2 degrees, and my only option is a cold water shower? It was 18 euros for myself and my dog, around double the cost of other campgrounds off season, and the only reason I get a campground while traveling in my van is for the shower. The place is super modern, electric car charging stations for example. And hot water for washing dishes but not for showers or the sinks in the bathroom? I asked the reception if there was a hot water shower anywhere else and they were unable to answer the question. I honestly don't know how this isn't in every other review. Don't do what I did and overpay to be treated like an inconvenience and left unable to bathe...
Beautiful calm peaceful site. Excellent toilet facilities but take torch if dark as light sensors are in operation and you can get plunged into darkness. Very shaded site with mountain glimpses good sized pitches. Food good and very reasonable prices. Beer and wine excellent too. Lovely and interesting area for walking and exploring
Very well taken care, very good facilities. This year with some limitations of activities because of the COVID-19.
Good location for hiking. Clean and quite - new sanitaries. Friendly staff. Restaurant is ok and being there in offseason is very pleasant - right next to nature. #letsguide
