Although some sections of the Galleria were closed for renovations and/or lack of staff, the collection was still quite impressive (especially the wing devoted to Correggio and Parmigianino), the building remarkable, and the Teatro Farnese- exceeded all expectations.

If you are in Parma you need to visit this museum. The location history is definitely picturesque, so the contents of the museum are very diverse. From objects from the prehistoric to the middle-aged atrificates that touch the Indusrist period.
A very informative gallery. Amazing painting
The theater in the palazzo is worth the trip here. However the art museum was an extraordinary surprise. Absolutely not to be missed if your are in Emilia Romagna.
Here is where the locals eat. Very good restaurant. I highly recommend it.
