This is a great shop full of everything you may ever need in terms of hardware and household goods. The staff are friendly, well informed and helpful. I have asked some fairly obscure questions about all manner of DIY jobs and have always found the answer helpful. I am saddened to see a poor review from someone who is selfish and inconsiderate of those who are so vulnerable at this time.

easy to get to a good range of products and social distancing. good advice from the lady as I bought plants and not exactly green fingered lol. the plants and planters I bought are coming up lovely.
Lovely little shop been going in here for over 30 years however watch out there is an extremely rude poisoned dwarf working here now and she's going to make it go down hill FAST.. I have had one particular incident twice with the same lady and she is just so rude.. 1st time I let it go 2nd time I have her a piece if my mind and now I won't be back.. such a shame as these places are few and far between. I believe this lady works in denmead shop and does a day or two up highlands.. bottom line is she needs to go and I'll be back otherwise I'm staying well away.. thought it may have been me she didn't like but I've just found out she has been really rude to my mother in law too.. shame she is wrecking a really healthy business.
