I have to say that this is one of the best places I've been to. The host doesn't just treat you as a costumer but more as a friend. On top of all that, the food is phenomenal. The meat is imported freshly from Uruguay and all products on the plate were of great quality and prepared in a very original way. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Paris.

Sometimes it’s difficult to find good food in Paris. This place serves Amazing meat which is just melts in the mouth. Well done guys!! I will defiantly pop in next time. The mix plate for two is perfect option.

I spent a great evening at Comptoir Montevideo, the service was very welcoming and of great quality. The meat were extraordinary (I had the \lomo\). I also liked the starters and the deserts very much but I'd definitely come back for the beef.
Nice place that serves great food. We visited this venue as a couple and really enjoyed our meal. For starters we went for the empanadas, for main the meat platter for 2 and the demi cuit chocolate dessert. The Mojito could use a bit more alcohol. There weren't any wines from Uruguay available that day so we got wine from Chile which tasted very good. The meat was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Also the accompanying vegetables were great. A nice change from the usual salad and fries that many meat restaurants serve. Friendly service too although sometimes things were forgotten. Why no 5 stars? The chef did part of his grilling under a section of the (small) kitchen that lacked a vapour hood. By consequence the place was filled in a damp. Also they charged 10 euro for the champagne although the menu says 9 (checked again online).

Empanadas were delicious (although quite expensive and there is a 2e charge for eating inside), service (owner?) is super attentive and friendly and explained us more about the food from Uruguay. Place is also very cosy.
What a great find in Paris. This is a must stop for lunch when in Paris. The flavors are exceptional, the steak melts in your mouth and the plate is picture perfect. Plus you must try the Empanadas, especially the cheese and mushroom. Forgot to mention the creativity of the blood sausage starter, wow. Just exceptional
