Just an amazing spot to visit. My wife and I had a lovely dinner here. The onion soup was the best I've ever had so much character. The Margret de Canard in mushroom sauce was also incredible. Our waiter Alex was so friendly and welcoming. He made us feel so at home. The dessert of profiteroles was layered with sauce to perfection. I would recommend anyone in Paris take the time to visit La Jacobins it is definitely one of the best meals we've had there.

It’s very good hearty food. The atmosphere is convivial. Waitstaff are friendly, efficient and speak good English (if communication is an issue). Each dish tasted great. French onion soup was the best I’ve had. Beef stew was amazing also. I wish I could try more dishes. We didn’t have to book for lunch.

It’s my second time visiting this small French cuisine restaurant, it’s a hidden gem in the area. Love that their foods are delicious with generous portion. The staff is very attentive to the customers, he’s extremely warm welcoming and always smiles to everyone.

We came here twice during our vacation because it was the best restaurant we went to during our stay. The onion soup was super delicious and lived up to its standards! The first time we ordered the wine beef stew and the duck leg confit. Eventho I am not a fan of beef stew I ate every bit of it so if you like stew you will surely like it. Ir was our first time trying duck and we were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was very kind and attentive as well The second time we tried the escargots and they were delicious and also tried the salmon and the duck with the mushroom sauce, this was personally my favorite of all.

The French Onion soup here was phenomenal! A bit pricey but worth it! If you're looking for traditional French food this is a great choice and it's on the cutest street ever! Highly recommend.

During a long family stroll through Paris, weary and hungry we reached the Latin Quarter at almost impossible for lunch time, 4 P.M. passed. In most restaurants the kitchen was closed ,but we were lucky with this one. Situated on a quiet pedestrian street and with a stylish cosy lounge, the friendly and welcoming waiters offered us many delicious typical French dishes, expertly cooked and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit it again.

I happened to visit this place since it was introduced as top 10 french onion soup restaurant in Paris. Turns out, the onion soup was fair enough. Loved their escargot. Their house vino matches the dishes pretty well, and i loved that the generous amount of vino they served. The main dish, however, was a bit chewy for me. I rather enjoyed the garnish. In general, the waiter was nice and kind, and felt to be welcomed.
