I would say in general a very nice place with great sake and drink menu. Small place with nice ambiance. Tapas are overpriced, simple foods come in small quantities. We spent 90 euros to eat and drink correctly...

It’s ok, pricey Japanese tapas, they have a wide choice of sake and liquor available. The food could really be better the service is friendly. The karaage was over cooked and they did not charge us for it.
The food was good but the dishes are quite pricey for the small quantity you get. The staff was very friendly the dishes came quite fast and I recommend the place for sake tasting. However besides the high price I have noticed that the toilets were not clean at all, empty rolls of toilet paper were just lying around and the cleaning schedule printed on the walls was completely empty. The place could use a better organisation on the sanitary side of things and perhaps propose cheaper main dishes. If you come I recommend the sake tasting and the codfish with miso as well as the sashimi.
Here’s a whiskey bar where you can have your bottle of Yamazaki (one of the best single malts in the world) kept for when you return. Izakaya Issé is above all a restaurant, among other classics on the archipelago, which serves delicious teriyaki beef. Finishing up with an ice tea sprinkled with sake is a fine idea.
The portions are a bit small and the prices are a bit high but the food is excellent; authentic and very well made. Awesome sake selection and nice service. Almost perfect!
The food was okay but the service was terrible. Out of six people, they totally forgot my food. I had to wait for one dish for 45 minutes while watching my acquaintances finish their menus. I even asked them middle of the wait if my food was coming and they said it should be there soon. However, next time I asked about it I found out they had forgotten about the entire dish. At the end of the night I left with a cold ’sorry’ and an extreme disappointment. The people there did not do anything to fix this and we're surprised that we were unhappy with the service. I have never felt a staff CARE AS LESS for the people sitting at their restaurant than this place. I would not recommend this place unless you want to take it to go.
Better for just sake. 6 bites of chicken, while good was not worth over 12 euro. Also the fish wasn’t very fresh and the serving tiny for 29 euro. Staff was very nice.
The bentos there are perfectly balanced. Exquisite food, but at a price tag that I would have liked to be a bit lower.
