Taco Tuesday is the best! 3 tacos for 6, though tbh the tacos are more like “baby tacos” than full size tacos. 3 tacos doesn’t quite fill you up. However, they are delicious try all of them if you can. These are the duck molé tacos and WOW!! Plus the hot sauce is great! There is a patio for the taqueria part

Immediate transport to Mexico City (ignore my fellow Americans complaining about the price or that it’s not like California Mexican food). During the day it’s just 9 tight bar seats and a table for 6 in the front. Homemade Mexican from a small menu of daily tacos and a few starters from 11am until late. Great frozen margaritas. A lot of the reviews are for the cool much larger bar (speakeasy) in the back (which opens at 6pm).
If u want to tast Mexican food, this is the place!!! Small but with good vibes, good music and exelent margarita !!! Be aware that u will probably wait a few minutes to seat. The amazing thing with this place, is an underground Bar at the end of the restaurant - ask in the front.
Great tacos, best margaritas I’ve ever had, fun atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service and usually a interesting conversation with other guests. Love Candelaria!
