Researchers without a French institutional affiliation are not allowed to request books from the closed stacks (\magasin\), which, by the library's own count, hold 90% of the collection. The few works available on open shelves are arbitrarily divided between a ground-floor eference\ collection and a basement esearch\ collection, numbered according to an idiosyncratic schema, and presented on bookcases without internal dividers. On the upside, BULAC claims that it has no wifi; in fact, you can connect via Eduroam, if your computer is so configured. This is helpful when you search Sudoc for another library to use.

Pathetic. Great fund, good place to work, but the stupid and omnipresent French bureaucracy spoils the place. To make a few scans you have to use enormous and hyper slow scanners normally designed for art works (around 30 seconds for a page), students not based in Paris can not reserve workspaces ( no place for you) and the place is already crowded at 11am, opening at 10. It's impossible to really work here. PS: bring your ethernet cable, because in French libraries, just like in the Soviet Union back in the '60 or something, there is no wi-fi. You have to use a cable.

Malheureusement j'y suis allé en cette période de Covid du coup pas possible d'y accèder si on a pas des critères bien précis. Mais l'intérieur à l'air vraiment chouette et bien pour travailler, dommage pour moi . Je reviendrai quand il n'y aura plus le covid Bibliothèque avec internet Bibliothèque avec des bons horaires 22 h si je dis pas de bêtise Par contre point négatif le quartier .... Aie il y a un foyer avec des sortes de clochards à côté qui zone plus où moins à mon avis le soir ça doit pas être super .. attention mesdames

Bibliothèque VRAIMENT très agréables j'ai vraiment apprécié le calme et l'ambiance studieuse de cette endroit malgré le monde l!!!! Il y aussi une cafétéria dans le bâtiment et des boulangerie au alentours si vpus avez un petit creux

une honte ! Cette bibliothèque publique refuse l'accès aux chercheurs français avec accréditation (CNRS, UNESCO). Les personnes de l'accueil sont d'un mépris et d'une ignorance crasse.
