Found this place while doing research on places to eat near the Louvre, we ate here after the museum and came back the next day because we loved it. We tried the escargot and the brought them out with the butter still boiling, now that’s fast and fresh! We had the vegetable soup, steak and traditional Parisian style chicken, we recommended all those plates. Waiters are friendly and they remembered our drink order from the previous day. They have happy hour till 8, it probably starts around 4.

Awesome. Really good food. Nice place to stay. It may be crowded so watch out for the right time. It's really tasty and portions are big and affordable. You are seated and served very well! Everything was just right.

Amazing food, great ambiance, superb food. The only drawback is I ordered a steak with butter and they brought me without it saying they ran out and just brought it with pepper sauce, could’ve asked me first you know... I hate pepper sauce so was disappointed eating just steak as it is.

There are too many food we wanted to try in Paris and onion soup is one of them. After looking at the review and considering the distance between where we were, we have picked Bistrot Richelieu. Staff were really attentive and friendly. Food are not the very commercial, fancy style and more homemade style. We had an onion soup and escargot as starter, followed by a today’s special (the perch) and the lamp chop. I cannot it is divine but certainly value for the money. It was a cozy and relax dinner and would recommend to anyone looking for a simple yet delicious meal. Staff speak very good English.

Exceptional service with friendly English speaking wait staff and menu. Bistro faire is fine, but very impressed with service. First time visiting, the service was friendly and helpful. Second time we went back cause the kids menu was well executed, and I knew kids would eat well. I was surprised how the waiter engaged the kids and made the experience very fun. Second night I was alone with the kids so this was incredibly helpful.

The food was nice and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately we had some issues with the selection of gluten-free items. While the escargots were marked as gluten-free on the menu, we were told that they do in fact contain gluten. Regarding the sauce for another dish, we were told that they did not know whether or not it contained gluten. So that was a little disappointing. Other than that the food was good and the service was very attentive.

Great escargot! Great profiterole! Beef steak was chewy.
