Au Coin des Gourmets - Restaurant Indochine

We were around the area and the place we wanted to go to was full. We decided to try this place. The staff were really friendly when we entered. They even stored our jackets. The place wasn't busy so it was quiet. We ordered a few things to share. We got shrimp crackers to start which was nice. I quite liked the marinated squid, it was almost like a salad. The flavours of the other dishes were also quite nice, particularly the satay beef and the leaf wrapped fish. It was a pan Asian place but the flavours of each dish was quite distinctive. The only issue for me was the portion size being quite small. A nice restaurant if you were wanting some Asian flavours with nice and friendly service.

What a find, also from the concierge. This restaurant actually does have a Cambodian/Vietnamese owner. There were a lot of authentic dishes from the region on the menu and I actually ate here on two consecutive evenings, getting through a fair chunk of the menu. For me, spring rolls, the ribs, Laos sausage, pho, steamed ravioli (English name) were stand out dishes. Great service too. another restaurant that will be visited again on another visit, good value as well for the area.

Went in for dinner and place was packed. Waiter came to tell us that they didn’t have room and as we started to walk out another gentleman (maybe owner?) ran aver to us to explain that he was sorry they couldn’t seat us and that they might have room in about 20 mins. The food smelled amazing so we said we would be back. We headed across the street for a glass of wine and then headed back where they had a reserve sign on our table. The service was excellent and the food was very fresh. If you order the pho and you like it spicy, make sure to ask for fresh chilies...soooo good!

poor service and dinning experience! the staff was rude and impatient when we entered close to their kitchen closing time during lunch. Moreover the food portions was a sadly sight, 15 for 2 meat skewers... overpriced, not worth the price at all

Great service, great dinner. Wonderful surprise because we were off the beaten track and decided to stop in for dinner. Wow! Just really good food.

Very average , service was poor, and hurried, rude and unwelcoming, It is a small hole in the wall set up with no ambience. Very limited vegetarian options, it was a waste of an evening.
