I have unfortunately bought one of their croco pocket wallets (online) to only discover after 2-3 weeks of regular use that the middle edges (both sides) started to crumple and a gave a very cheap look to the wallet. While travelling to NYC, I visited their boutique and I noticed that the inner layer of similar wallets was much thicker, which I think is the main reason why my wallet didn't retain its outer shape. I sent the wallet to the manufacturer, but they insisted that It was my fault for not using the wallet correctly! The funny thing is that I was extra careful by not over stuffing the wallet with too many bills. I even reduced the number of cards that I typically carry so I could maintain a slimmer look to the wallet. They want me to pay to fix the wallet, which is not only disrespectful, but it also shows they do not care about returning loyal clients. Their other products are good (e.g. watch straps and cardholders), but stay away from their bifold wallets. Invest in well-known luxury brands even if it costs more. At the end, what is a wallet if it can be functional and sustain regular daily use?!

The moment i spotted this little shop and 'persuaded' my husband to visit there and to have a new strap put on his new watch i bought him for our wedding present, our nightmare began. We spent almost 400 for a new leather strap and very excited waiting for two weeks to be made and for them to fit the strap for us. Two week passed, the shop had a rather young woman to serve us, tried not to be stereotyped we still let her put the new strap for our 8,500 worth of watch although we didn’t quite feel confident about the whole thing right from the beginning. She spent the first 15mins , looked exhausted just trying to open the lugs to take off the original strap, but before we knew it, and before the new strap to be fitted in, she had scratched all 4 lugs big time, leaving mark on each lug, to make matter worse, Atelier jean Rousseau refused to admit fault and accused us bringing in the damaged watch to their shop!!!! (really!) Long story cut short, it has taken us weeks to finally got it settle. During that time, we had to seek legal advice as they refused to take responsibility and find another eligible shop to repair our watch. This matter is finally over now although we are still waiting for the watch to be repaired as Atelier finally agreed to pay for the bill on repair even they did try to just pay half of it!!!! This is very exhausting and we like to move on now but I like to warn anyone who plans to visit that shop, PLEASE THINK TWICE unless you are prepared to have any damage on your watch and be accused it is your own fault.
