Top seafood, crab, lobster, fresh fish, a bit pricey but worth for the quality and tasteful food. Staff is very experienced and never let down.

very good seafood. The place I met Martinho da Villa a few years ago.

Amazing shrimps with garlic and chilli followed by an even more amazing shrimp curry; the best ever

Excellent seafood restaurant in a small town, very old school atmosphere. Very cosy and service is great. Food is very tasty, beware of huge portions. I could not finish mine. It is a real restaurant, so price is higher than average, but it is worth every cent!

Excellent Portuguese seafood and fish restaurant. Expensive but worth the price. Spotless classic waiter service at the table.

Maybe me and my girlfriend went on an exceptionally bad day for them. It was a sunny and hot day, nice outside setting so we decided to give it try. We knew it wasn't cheap, as any place named \ marisqueira\ is usually expensive and often overrated. It was a very bad decision. 56 for two people. We order half bottle of white wine (10), a bottle of water, one octopus salad (around 5 and the size of a small ashtray). No entre or couvert. The mains: one salmon for her (14) and one grouper (19) on the grill. Both portions were really small. both accompanied by steamed green beans, \fist smashed\ potatoes and poorly cut carrots and broccoli. The green beans, served on a crescent moon shaped dish, arrived hanging out of the dish (remember these are 14 and 19 euro mains). For dessert we picked a egg yolk pudding. Tough, tasteless and served with a touch of corn syrup (a cheaper version of honey). 2 espressos and a bad aftertaste and indisputably my worst dinning experience in Portugal in 2 years.

Very old school (but not fancy). The fish was great and cooked, albeit very simply, to perfection. If one does not expect a Michelin star type restaurant, this is a great place. Highly recommended.
