I came here for breakfast yesterday and it was a lovely experience. They really expanded their outdoor dining area and it's quite spacious, and the tables are distanced appropriately for the pandemic. The breakfast menu is delicious and less expensive than the lunch menu. I ordered the Rosarito burrito and it was stuffed full of eggs, bacon, avocado and other goodies, with a side of potatoes and Pico de Gallo. Their cocktails are gorgeous!!!! I had their watermelon daiquiri and it was served in a watermelon and very tasty. The presentation of their coffee is fun too because it comes with whipped cream. My friend enjoyed her eggs Benedict too. The service was friendly and excellent. We were checked on regularly. There is a time limit to be at your table--2 hours, which is more than enough time to have a leisurely meal. I made a reservation and we were seated right away. Everyone in your party must be present in order to be seated. After breakfast, we chilled on the beach for a few hours. During the week, with restaurant validation, you can have up to 4 hours there for 8. Ample parking and a gorgeous beach. It was not crowded and a lovely day. If you stay more than 4 hours, the price jumps to 35. On the weekend, it's more expensive--10 for 4 hours with validation and 50 after 4 hours. The parking pay stations are glitchy and I had to ask for help, and others did too. They have chairs and loungers to rent too. I'm not sure about the single chairs (I think my friend said 30) but the double loungers/daybed are 75 during the week and 100 on the weekend. No thanks! I brought my own beach chair. You can't beat the view here. The food is on the pricy side but you're paying for the view and experience. I did 4 hours and it felt worth it.

The hostess’s are just rude. The location is awesome. The food is good. The manager who calls herself the boss uses the BS word. Pablo her manager had to step in and take charge of the situation. Anyways - we had a fun time at the place. It’s just these small things.

I’ve been here in Sept and Nov of this year. With COVID-19 limiting activities in LA, having outdoor dinners have been clutch! Paradise Cove Beach Cafe is a gem! Love the fact that you’re literally eating on the beach. If it’s warm, bring sandals so you can dip your feet in the sand while you’re eating! The food is amazing - huge menu of seafood options and loved the watermelon margarita literally inside a melon! ️

I'm giving 5 stars but I honestly feel this place is a little overrated. First of all, if you want to go here, make a reservation ahead of time! Second, just so you know, parking is 35 if you just go to the beach, OR its 8 with validation. You have to spend 30 in order to get your parking validated. It's really easy to do when burgers are like 20. (This is weekday pricing. I think weekends and holidays are 40 without validation.) THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD!!! So if you pull in, get a ticket, and decide it's too crowded, or you just wanted take out, you have to pay for parking, no matter what. They have cabana rentals starting at like 100 They do have very nice and comfortable Adirondack chairs in sets of two that are under umbrellas that are first come, first serve, and free. The food is excellent and the portions are very large. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were VERY clean. I was actually pretty shocked at how well kept and comfortable the bathrooms were. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the water is calm and blue. Even though I feel this place is overrated, I will probably go back and really enjoy myself.
