Every company has its pros and cons. Paradigm is no different. But at this company the pros far outweigh the cons. Everyone complains about the START pay of 9/ hour but what they neglect to mention are the promotional opportunities and advancement opportunities. Starting at 3 months, you start getting raises after taking a short training course. I believe raise opportunities are at months 3, 6, 9, 12, and 18. And with those raises come promotions up to lieutenant rank. Management apparently saw potential in me and promoted after only a month and a half. More of those pros: free training, variety of sites from construction to banks to apartments, overtime is awesome, holiday pay is awesome, they give out Christmas bonuses, management will bend over backwards to help their employees in need whenever possible, it’s a small company so no corporate bs, and much more. My coworkers and managers are awesome. Cons: they will let this job suck your soul until you set boundaries, it’s and easy burnout job, some sites are a ways out but if it’s excessively far hour and a half-2 hours they’ll compensate an extra buck an hour. Most of the complainers are complaining about driving 40 minutes which is about average from my house to all the sites. Some of the patrol cars could use a paint job. The pay could be better but it is low average so technically you can’t say we’re underpaid and as mentioned before, they ain’t stingy on the raises, you just gotta earn it.

So far, this is a good place to work. The managers and the owner seem to care about the employees. Lots of incentives for motivation. Good place to move up in the company
