The fish of the day ( lieu noir ) was well prepared with purée de carotte. It is a bit expensive , but quite normal in this area.

We enjoyed our visit at the Papi Henri very much. Arriving early with two children, the menu was short - four main courses - but we craved 3 of them. Ended up with the Noix de Basse cote, which was a bit undercooked to our liking (ordered medium rare). Likely a cultural thing. The wine, the supplements, and children’s food, and everything else was perfect, including the service. Despite having only one serving due to illness, we experienced Papi Henri as a well worth visit, and will likely go again to try other things off the menu. Worth a visit!
Absolutely brilliant food and outstanding service. Best food we’ve had in Paris, a lovely family restaurant with a new menu each day. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a good meal this is one of the best places in Paris. The food is fresh and the menu changes daily. Added bonus the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

They cook their fish perfectly. I expect that of a Michelin 2 star. This restaurant was excellent and casual. It was so good I went back a second time and had their duck. Just perfect.
Really excellent food here by people who care! The waitress described each dish to us in English - including the tomato tart which was a family recipe and quite excellent. We finished with a wonderfully butternut apple and almond tart. I highly recommend this restaurant.
