I have been eating the fish and chips from here for years. It's my \chippy\ of choice locally because the chips are just perfect, not to hard or squishy like in other similar places. The fish is also delicious, I like haddock but the cod is good too.

If I saw the photos on here before we stopped I wouldnt have bothered. I can honestly say this is the worst fish and chips I've had. The chips are frozen chips that I can get from the shop, not any actual potato in sight. The battered sausage was also cheap. I had cod and well less said about that the better. It was horrid. So greasy and tasteless. And even if the food was great the lady behind the counter was just so rude and not welcoming in the slightest. If you would like a decent fish and chips. Don't eat here.

We went in here for an evening meal on our visit to Canterbury,it’s not a bad little place could do with a bit of a spruce up.The food was quite enjoyable you certainly got a good portion for your money.The Mrs went to the toilets and said they were not that brilliant,it’s a shame as little things like this let the place down.You can sit in or take away with a good selection on the menu.
