I missed this place as it's been 3 years since I last come here. You got to try the Honey BBQ Wings, Chilli Lamb, Chicken 65 and all the main starters like Chilli Paneer etc. One thing I couldn't help myself to notice the portions have gone smaller I didn't realise sugar tax is going to effect the portion sizes of spicy foods. Otherwise the tastes are amazing.

I was very disappointed with the quality of my takeaway order yesterday. The quality was very poor. We had about 6 starters/main dishes. The okra was brownish/black, not green. The chilli chicken, chicken 65 etc. all.meat dishes - like it was re-cooked/refried/reheated. The meat in the main dishes were also very hard and dry whereas the light batter outside was soggy. We ended up just eating the sauce with nan/rice and threw the rest away. My friend, who also used to be a regular, had a similar experience few weeks ago and we put it down to maybe a different chef.. so I thought to give it another go but was really let down by the quality of the food too, the flavours haven'treally changed. Their food used to be really good with fresh ingredients. Unsure whether to visit again. Feels like it can be a hit/miss with Papa Js now, so will explore new places instead!

We have visited the restaurant a couple of times in as many months. The food and service have been consistently good. The standout items are the mixed platters that are either all veg, meat or seafood. We have tried all three and have liked their taste and consistency. Portions are quite generous so do consider this while ordering. Waiting staff provide a good and fast service.
