The garlic butter doughnuts are so @#&?* good! Had a slice of pepperoni and sausage pizza too which was amazing. Best pizza around!

The best pizza anywhere in the US. It's that good. We used to live in C/U and ate it all the time. Now we would drive 5 hours to indulge. They have ruined us for all other pizza. Yes - it takes a long time to cook - but it is always worth it!
I have been coming to papa dels on both green and their new location for 10 years. The pizza is decent but there is one iron clad rule when dealing with this place. Your food will never be on time. You can order carry out and be told it will take an hour and show up 1 hour and 40 minutes later and they will still not have it done. Would only suggest this place if you are truly desperate for deep dish
Great food & friendly service. Pizza was outstanding. Be warned if you are going to go eat pizza there you are going to be there for at least an hour, if you're on a time schedule either order ahead or grab a sandwich. Don't be discouraged the pizza is worth the wait. The sausage is dynamite & it's their own recipe. Will be making the 1.5 hr road trip to enjoy this gem again.
Waited 10 minutes for someone to seat us, then an hour for this over done pizza. The worst part? The owner actually handed it to the server (who was great, and very apologetic). No quality control. Just pump it out, and take the money. Had heard good things...sadly, it was inedible. They did comp us, and the great server told us not to tip. Tipped any way. Wasn’t her fault!
