Riding at Apollo Farms has been an amazing experience. As a student you get to learn about horsemanship, daily care, and riding. I have had the opportunity to ride several of the lesson horses and ponies. The experience is always pushing me to the next level. I went from just knowing the basics, to now being able to jump a course and compete. This past summer I won my first Champion and Reserve! I like that I am just not another student but I am part of a barn family.

I’d give them a negative star if I could. This establishment and its owner are the most unprofessional business/person that I’ve had the displeasure of working with. Arranged for and paid 2 weeks in advance. Got there early after driving all they way up there and someone came out and said they needed to reschedule. They had asked if we would be able to do another time and said that another time might work. We had not even left the property when I tried phoning them to let them know that it was not going to work with the plans that we had for the rest of the day. I tried texting the number that was on their web site for trail scheduling, no one returned my text. You cannot leave a message or get a live person to speak with. I finally emailed only to get a message back from the owner that they didn’t receive any of our messages and that they were not going to refund our money. They told me that the number that I had texted to was not even on their website. After sending all of the screenshots of all of the calls that I tried making with the times attached and a screenshot of their own website with the number to text for trail scheduling, I asked once again to make things right and to refund the money. Just as I expected there was no return email, no phone call, and no text back from Apollo Farms/ Delia to rectify this problem. Don’t waste your time nor your money to deal with this business. Sadly they don’t care about people.
Went for trail ride for 4 . 2 adults 2 children. They were very much unprepared. Did not have a good experience. All riders were very inexperienced. We were to be lead on field trail that did not happen for very long. Smallest child was a little afraid so kept us on more level area that’s fine. The owner told the girls to keep at least 1horse distance apart the one horse I was on didn’t like the one in front of me that did not happen the daughter was in a hurry . At one point owners daughter had to be somewhere and was in a hurry to leave so I was asked if I was ok taking horse by myself I said I didn’t think so. We were taken back to paddock I was left on horse while daughter moved some things around her mother told her to show me how to control the horse all of three directions pull left to go left same for right pull back say whoa to stop. Was left on my own. Daughter said horse would follow other horses no problem just look toward horse in front of me and it would be fine. Not today my horse did not want to stay behind that horse and wanted to go off on her own could not get her to stop. Owner who had the 2 children had to give one child to another girl there and come grab my horse who I finally stopped. My horse kicked back and startled the other horse with the young boy throwing him . It took to long to explain to dismount and control 4 horses with only 2 people after daughter left.Mother of young boy spent entire evening at hospital only to be transferred to another hospital with pediatric care. Not a good experience at all. Never leave inexperienced riders alone.
Seriously amazing! They are so patient with beginners, and the horses are very well tempered. The women who work there very clearly love, and care about each, and every horse. I couldn’t recommend a better place to go for a nice trail ride.
Apollo Farms was amazing with our 2.5 year old toddler. Delia was patient and calm and we cannot say enough about our experience there. We tried another farm and it was a failure but Apollo Farms was awesome! Delia talked our son through everything and he won’t stop talking about it-we’ll definitely be back! Thank you
