Golden Saint protector of Palermo. It's a really historical place . The people of Palermo strongly believe in their Saint. The sanctuary is really beautiful. From outside it looks like a man build structure, but when you enter you see a beautiful cave with some amazing views . It's a must visit place on Monte Pellegrino.

Cool place. Take the bus for the views-it'll be the best 1.40 you'll ever spend, although they can be scheduled over an hour apart. The shrine is lovely. Be aware there is nothing else to do there, unless you're a hiker. A couple of food joints and souvineer stands. There were very few people on a weekday in November. It's rather small and I can imagine it filling quickly and dampening the experience.
This place has a very special atmosphere. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Palermo
I'm not religious but I think place is a must see while visiting Palermo. There are even buses going there, place is free and open until late (been there at almost 8pm). Beautiful views on the way there
It's a very cool place to visit litterely in summer...and the sceneries were out of this world . We were above the planes...
