There aren't enough stars that equal the results our dog Amber got from the advise and instruction of Andy Hale. We moved from a rural to an urban area and Amber seemed to really suffer separation anxiety, impulse control, i.e. barking, pulling, not responding to commands, and she chased after cars but was afraid of confidant dogs. She became so anxious she lost fur from her haunches. My husband and I were not on the same page and our poor dog had to cope with mixed messages from us. Now it is such a pleasure having a happy and well behaved dog. We do not hesitate to take her anywhere. Neither of us had ever consulted a trainer before, but after our experience with Andy the bar has been set pretty high.

Recommended by our Vets we received superb expert advice from Andrew to help our nervous whippet. We discussed the issues over the phone and several options were clearly explained to help resolve the anxiety problems our dog was having. We have a very happy whippet now thanks to Andrew - he knows everything about the mind of a dog and we were so pleased to find him and will certainly recommend to anyone.

I cannot even begin to describe what a help Andy has been to us as owners and also our dog. We have had a hard time with our young German Shepherd but Andy's calm and committed attitude has made such a difference and we are seeing positive changes in our lovely boy after only a few sessions. Whisky (our dog) is a wary animal and only takes to certain people and he took to Andy straight away and is always delighted to see him. Andy has a deep understanding of dogs and people alike and really takes care of both owner and dog whilst always encouraging you to move forward. We cannot thank you enough Andy and we hope that with your help we can get Whisky to a stage where he has no problems or anxieties xxx

We have 3 lovely, mad labradors but sadly experience some difficulties with two of them who started to have some nasty fights with each other. Andy helped us to understand our dogs, their behaviour and their individual needs with a very calm and professional approach. He explains everything easy to understand and to put into practice . Andy is always happy to help at the other end of the phone if we need his advice . His knowledge and expertise about dogs is outstanding. When he is visiting us for a training session , it is like having a friend over for a cup of tea! We couldn’t have a better Dog behaviourist. Thank you Andy !

Our young labrador started to get stressed when out and about soon after his first birthday, and things gradually got more tricky with other dogs and things in the wider environment potentially sending him into a spin. Having had an easy dog last time, this was a big shock. It wasn't until seeing about Andy in a newsletter from our vet's that we contacted him. Andy has enormous experience and diagnosed the situation at the first meeting. The relief in talking to someone who could make sense of the situation was huge. He explained the condition of hyper-reactivity, its likely cause being genetic, and that he was not a severe case. However he also made plain that bringing about change would take time and commitment on our part. We have met about 6 times over the past year. Every session has been a pleasure and a great encouragement. Andy is very positive. He understood my anxiety as well as understanding how Monty was feeling. He has provided fantastic advice, feedback and support. All his methods are kind and based on positive reinforcement, from a scientific understanding of a dog's brain and behaviour. The result is a 2 and a half year old, happy, waggy, loving, friendly dog who can mix and play freely on the beach, and with all the family. He is also walking much better on the lead:work in progress!! Thanks so much, Andy!
