Great seaside restaurant. Decor is set like a 60s dinner. Very friendly staff. Excellent fish & chips... Hope we can come back again soon

Not sure if the take away is better than the sit down meal but my advice is don't go in to have a meal. I could have got a better burger at the caravan outside Wickes. Imagine 4 patties for a pound from Iceland and then serve 2 dripping in oil, between a white roll that will survive with the cockroaches, after nuclear war. The fish batter had absolutely no taste. The 2 stars is for the can of diet Coke and Sprite, which were great.
Pretty decent small breakfast for 4 quid, hash was extra and could do with a few extra beans for me. Would happily pay a bit more for a premium Sausage too.
Visited cafe 02.10.20 warm welcome even in the covid times felt well informed by greeting member of staff. Was directed to table all safely distanced from other diners. Great choice of food. Food ordered and beautifully cooked with a great cup of tea. I like to say a big thank you to the management and staff for making my wife feel at ease and we will be back soon for anorher visit. Support this local cafe with a visit you won't regret it.
Good reliable food with friendly staff. Take away and eat in. Good COVID precautions in place. Nothing too fancy just good tasty food
