A must-do visit of breathtaking beauty! We have been twice because the ticket is valid for three days. The second time next to the Tempi we booked and did Yoga with Luciano who welcomed and pampered us just like this land of Cilento where everything is beautiful and full of charm. We booked the tickets online and then again on Line we set the day and time: very simple! The outside staff very kind, coordinated the queue and the distances. In the afternoon I recommend entering at the latest at 5:30 pm as the museum closes at 7:30 pm and since it is very large it takes about two hours at least! Beautiful sunset that colors the times: fantastic!

It is incredible how something from more than 2000 years still there... a piece of story, download the paestum app from store to enjoy each stop/mark with explanations about the site. Paid parking outside, dogs allowed, family ticket save some money with kids, the ticket give you the possibility to visit the museum across the street.
Easy to reach by train or by car, this archeological park is a truly unique place in the whole world. Vast and rich of photos opportunities, I'd recommend a late afternoon visit with both a guided tour and some wondering on your own to enjoy some stunning and unforgettable moments by the temples. Close by you'll find good places to eat gelato, pizza, or an elegant dinner.
I arrived in mid afternoon, I visited the park first then spent 2hours in the museum. I came out of the museum, re entered the park , got this spectacular sunset !!! Lucky me. Great beauty and a spiritual experience.
Interesting site. Did not actually pay to enter as much if it is visible from the road. Incredibly well preserved. Very covid secure. Wearing of masks compulsory in the area
