I meet friends in this place often! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I visit this spot many times. The meals are very good, the staff members are friendly and the cost is fair. I enjoy meeting in this spot over a decent dinner.

Food and drink here was delicious. Quirky little place that I’d return to try other bits. May update with dessert info in future. Staff were friendly and attentive

Had a very good experience in this spot with my daughter. The food comes out rapidly and the customer service is just fantastic. Prices are reasonable.

pasta was good but overpriced and the portion was pretty small, ordered a collection that was supposed to ready in 20 minutes, once i got there i was told they’re out of the one i ordered, would be nice if they called me earlier, so i would’ve ordered from a different place. it took another 20 minutes to make the rest of the food :/

I dined here with my husband at the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have been wanting to visit the restaurant for a long while now, as the menu sounded delicious. Sadly we were quite disappointed with the whole experience. We ordered starters, mains and sides and all items arrived together (a bit of a problem when the tables are so small). All dishes apart from one (mushroom & truffle pasta, which was lovely) were incredibly under seasoned. I had to ask for salt and also saw another 2 tables doing the same. The chicory salad came without chicory (the main ingredient) and no apology was given when they returned the dish. Although the ingredients and dishes sound amazing on paper, in actual fact the food was very bland. Additionally the wine arrived after we had finished eating and we had to ask for water 3 times. The service was quite poor, maybe to do with the fact that the kitchen is downstairs and the seating is upstairs. Other tables were offered foccacia and parmesan cheese with their meals but again we were not. Also the chicory salad came without chicory (the main ingredient). The service was very inconsistent. Finally when we were about to ask for the bill the waiter asked if we 'were still waiting for our mains' - clearly no idea that he had already served us throughout the evening. I don't think I would have felt so strongly about posting a review, however for a price tag of nearly 100 for 2 (without pudding) I couldn't help but feel a bit hard-done by. The 12.5% service charge seemed a bit excessive too. It is a shame because the venue/setting has so much potential.
