Lovely meal. Very opulent. The service was very good. Just one downside. No draught beer due to a technical problem with the pump. We had turbot and scallops to start, followed by for me Indonesian seafood curry and my partner had the cod and chips.

Not convinced. We had the set menu, the food was good but underwhelming. The plaice was over battered and the sides were disappointing. The raspberry creme brulé was delicious though. All felt a little overpriced. Really rather poor service with long gaps between courses and a 25 minute wait - despite chasing - for the bill at the end.

Super Friendly Staff, nothing too much trouble . Food delicious and serious attention to detain since I had informed the restaurant in advance that one of our partly had a shellfish allergy( but not me thankfully !). We will be back, Thanks

Never been here before, and never been anywhere like this before, I didn't know what to expect, but when I entered, I was made to feel at home, the staff were friendly helpful, and nothing was to much trouble. The food was, well, let's just say, Omg amazing. You need to try. You do pay for the experience, I had a great experience, while I was there, I will be going back, in the near future. Thanks to all the staff. See you soon.

Arrived in a thunderstorm so pretty spectacular start to the meal. The welcome was warm and personable, as was all the staff interaction. It felt like genuine pride in working there, more than just professional. The design is very modern with quirky touches, not pretentious. The was a nice vibe to the large open plan dining area. As expected the food was outstanding. The squid ink cuttlefish risotto starter was rich, the Turbot main was melt in your mouth delicious and the Padstow lobster was divine. So delightfully full we could not manage desert, but the petite fours were sublime. Not a cheap meal but worth every penny. Thank you for helping us to memorably celebrate our wedding anniversary.
